In the view of the minority, Facebook is the end of privacy. This is solely because once it’s out there, it’s out there. You can’t stop your friends and family not seeing what you recently posted, even if you delete it, someone’s going to screen-shot it/save it. “Privacy settings on Facebook is complete rubbish”, said Simon. His opinion is partly valid. This is because there are some sections on the ‘Privacy Setting’s” page I don’t understand, because what-if I only want to be accessed by pleasant people and ‘not’ paedophiles.
Furthermore anyone can input your name into Facebook and try and approach you, unless you have ‘sorted’ out your privacy settings. The confidentiality of Facebook is aggravating. Facebook is more like an open door to people’s ‘personal life’. What if a paedophile approached you? What would you do? Be happy? Or call the police?
